ELIGIBILITY: All ages as of July 22, 2008.  Competition requires 2 or 4 persons per team.  Athletes may compete in more than one division/event. Athletes may compete on only one team in a division.

DESCRIPTION: Competition will be held July 23-27 at Memorial Park, York.  Walk-on registration will be from 8am-9am and again from 5pm-6pm.  Teams will play a minimum of 4 matches; all matches will be one 15-point game.  Format may be changed based on number of entries.  USAV outdoor rules with modifications will govern competition.  A limited number of entries are allowed per division.  No substitutes or alternates are permitted.  Injury will result in default.  Coed 4’s will consist of two male and two female players. ENTRY PROCEDURE:

1.       Complete the Team Entry Form including (1) team name, (2) division of play, (3) Team Contact’s name, address, telephone number and email address.

2.       For PA entries make out a check for the proper amount to the “Keystone State Games” and submit by the initial deadline.  For each player a $15 per event fee should be sent to the Keystone State Games office.  No cash please.  Walk-on entries will submit $20 per player/ per event, the day of competition.  For out-of-state entries add an additional $10.  Online entry is available, and the entry fee must be paid with a credit/debit card.

3.       Complete the Team Roster Form when the team make-up is set.  A roster will contain a maximum of four players.

4.       Each player listed on the roster must complete an Individual Registration Form, and sign the waiver.  If the athlete is under 18 years of age a parent, guardian, or responsible adult must also sign the form.  

NOTE: To expedite the team’s complete registration the Team Roster Form and Individual Registration Forms for each player listed on the Team Roster Form may be sent with the Team Entry Form and fee by the initial deadline.

5.       A team representative must bring the complete Team Roster Form and the Individual Registration Forms for each player to the Registration Desk prior to the final deadline, July 25. If all forms were sent with the Team Entry Form and fee the athlete/team Representative will go through normal registration procedures to pick up their ID card and shirt card.  If the forms come to Registration by the final deadline the team contact must submit the forms to registration and pick up the ID card and shirt card.  Each individual must write their name and sport on the ID card.

NOTE: Failure of a team to submit the Team Roster Form and all Individual Registration Forms by the final deadline may disqualify the team from competition and there is no recourse for a refund.

6.       Each team representative must show their copy of the Team Roster Form to the Tournament Leader at the pre-competition meeting.  Prior to each team’s first game the TL, or ATL, will check each player’s completed ID card.  Players without an ID card WILL NOT be allowed to participate.

ENTRY DEADLINE: July 13, 2008 otherwise athletes must register as a walk-on.
