ELIGIBILITY: All ages as of July 31, 2010.  Soccer players may compete in more than one division, but only on one team in a division.  No allowance will be made when scheduling.  Players may play down, but not up in divisions.  There is no minimum but a maximum of 18 players may be on the roster.  Although there is no minimum number of players allowed, there should be enough players to sustain the team through the rigors of the competition. 

 

NJ, DE, MD, WV, OH, & D.C. athletes are welcome to compete in 2010 Keystone Summer Games with no additional fees. 

   

DESCRIPTION: At the Summer Games the teams will compete in a round-robin pool play, with the top teams advancing to single elimination.  The competition will be held Saturday-Sunday, July 24-25, at John C. Rudy County Park, 400 Mundis Race Road, York.  Enter early!  A set number of teams will be accepted.

SPORT RULES: FIFA rules will be used, except number of players, field size and duration of games. Seven players, including the goalie, are authorized on the field for each team. The fields are approximately 50 yd x 80 yd. Each game will consist of two, 15 minute halves, with a 5 minute halftime. Offsides will not be enforced. Teams must provide their own uniform shirts with numbers. 

ENTRY PROCEDURE:

1. Complete the Team Entry Form including (1) team name, (2) division of play, (3) Team Contact’s name, address, telephone number and email address.
3. Make out a check for $350 (no cash) to the “Keystone State Games” and submit it with the Team Entry Form by the initial deadline, July 5. 
4. Complete the Team Roster Form when the team make-up is set.  A roster will contain a maximum of eighteen players.
6. Each player listed on the roster must read the release and sign the roster sheet. as their acceptance.  If the athlete is under 18 years of age a parent, guardian, or responsible adult must also sign the form.  
8. Registration is complete when Keystone Games has received 1) Team entry form, 2) Check for $350.00, and 3) Team roster.

NOTE: To expedite the team’s complete registration the Team Roster Form may be sent with the Team Entry Form and fee by the initial deadline.  Roster and Release must be received by July 12.

6. Each team representative must submit a copy of the Team Roster Form complete with uniform numbers to the Tournament Leader at the competition.  Prior to each team’s first game the TD, or ATD, will check each player’s completed ID card and proof of age.  Players without an ID card WILL NOT be allowed to participate.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, July 7, 2010, in the KSG office, or postmarked by July 5, 2010.  All entries with properly completed paperwork and fee submitted will be accepted up to the set number of teams allowed through these dates.  All teams submitting these documents on time are cleared to participate.
